The powerhouse contemporary classical vocal group Veritas stopped by the BREATHEcast studio to chat about their latest album and spread some holiday cheer with a Christmas performance.

Veritas is made up of
Jeff Anderson, James Berrian, Andrew Goodwin, Jordan Johnson, and Lucas Scott Lawrence. All voices range from high range to baritone.

Their new self titled album Veritas puts their unique spin on popular songs such as MercyMe's
"I Can Only Imagine"; Matt Redman's "10,000 Reasons"; Switchfoot's alternative rock smash "Dare You To Move"; Michael W. Smith's "Agnus Dei," an American Anthology of "America The Beautiful," "God Bless America" and
"Battle Hymn of the Republic" and John Legend's "If You're Out There," "The Lord's Prayer" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" (from the legendary Rogers & Hammerstein musical "Carousel"). The final two are popular selections that Veritas has regularly
 performed during their live concerts.

With a unique musical style fashioned from a fusion of artistic excellence and creative pursuit with performances that promise to inspire an audience of any distinction, Veritas brings a fresh approach to the contemporary classical genre.

In addition to their Fall release, Veritas has also been performing some selections from their Christmas Time album. Watch the group on BC NEWS below:
