Christian Woman Prays for Tracy Morgan and Victims of Tragic NJ Car Accident (VIDEO)

Moments after actor and comedian Tracy Morgan and other passengers inside his limousine were hit by a Walmart tractor-trailer driven by Kevin Roper, a Christian woman immediately prayed for their safety on Saturday.

"Oh God, help them Lord help them... May they be alive. Help him God, Help him God. My Lord, My Lord may he be alive," said the Christian woman in Spanish when she was at the scene of the vehicular homicide on June 7.

Roper allegedly did not sleep for over 24 hours when the tragic accident occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike, which killed Morgan's friend and colleague Jimmy Mack (whose real name was James McNair) and injured Morgan and his friends Jeffrey Millea, Harris Stanton and Ardie Fuqua.

Brooke Buchanan, a Walmart spokesperson for Walmart issued the following statement after the company's driver, Roper, was charged with assault by auto and vehicular homicide as a result of horrific accident.

"With regards to news reports that suggest Mr. Roper was working for 24 hours, it is our belief that Mr. Roper was operating within the federal hours of service regulations," said Buchanan in a statement.

In addition, Walmart U.S. President and CEO Bill Simon issued the following statement regarding the tragedy.

"This is a tragedy, and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved," said Simon in a declaration. "The facts are continuing to unfold. If it's determined that our truck caused the accident, Walmart will take full responsibility."

Morgan suffers from multiple injuries as a result of the crash, including a broken nose, a broken leg, and broken ribs to name a few.

"We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks," said Morgan's publicist Lewis Kay.

Morgan is best known for being a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1996-2003. In addition, Morgan is also known for his role as Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock, which was a parody of himself and his career.
