Friends and family celebrated Reach Records emcee Andy Mineo and his Fiance Cristina's wedding shower over the weekend, and announced on Instagram that he will soon marry his fiancé. 

"My wedding shower was a success thanks to amazing friends & family! #youcantstopme #youcantstopUS! Getting married next month!!!" he wrote in a post along with a picture of a banner made by his friend Liz.

Mineo's friends were so excited for the young couple that they too took to Instragram to post photos of the wedding shower. Mineo and his wife posed with Mineo's friend and Producer Ray Castro and Castro's wife as they celebrated their upcoming nuptials.

In a comical video Mineo posted on Instagram, he hinted to the fact that he and his fiancé are avoiding intimacy and intimate settings until marriage. The rapper showed himself in an elaborate presidential hotel suite and noted that he "hated" the fact he was not married yet. Watch video below:

Mineo proposed to his girlfriend in April during Easter weekend and announced it to the world with a photo revealing the face of the lucky lady in his life. He captioned a picture of the proposal "she said yes" in all caps. His page immediately lit up with thousands of likes and comments.

Mineo had also once mentioned her during an interview on "Sway in the Morning." Mineo stated that he was a Sicilian American New York native and said she was Puerto Rican.

The 26-year-old's first full-length studio album, Heroes for Sale, was released in 2013 on Reach Records founded by very successful labelmate Lecrae. His career has since taken off.

Heroes for Sale sold an impressive 28,000 copies and his latest EP, Never Land landed at #2 on the Billboard charts.

Mineo first came to Christ during a experience he had at a Christian summer camp when he was in the eighth grade, but upon going to high school with no Christian support, he strayed from the faith until his freshman year in college. Now he uses his gifts to offer the message of Christ to the hip-hop audience.

Mineo and his new fiancée will be noted in the prayer of his fans as they embark on the next phase of their life together.
