Rapzilla caught up with producer S1 who is behind the Kanye West hit "Power" at SXSW to talk about the impact he is making on West and the mainstream Hip-Hop community with his Christian walk.

S1 is reportedly signed to the production branch of Kanye's record label G.O.O.D Music. S1 is the main producer of the highly acclaimed group Strange Fruit Project. His style and production range stretches beyond all genres from R&B to Soul, from Underground to Urban Pop and everything else in between.

"What I do is always a representation of Christ," S1 said in his interview with the Christian Hip-Hop publication.

"If I'm around somebody and they're doing something I wouldn't normally do, like smoking, drinking, I never feel like I have to fit in," he continued.

Many Christians choose to stay away from the secular industry but S1 does not feel the same.

"One of the confirmations for me is like working with Kanye, When I worked with him I was just being me. Just representing what I represent," he explained, "After that first trip when I came home I got this email from him... and he was just telling me how he loved my spirit and my energy and my positivity."

No matter who I work with people are always looking," he maintained.
