How busy can a fast food restaurant get during lunchtime in NYC? BREATHEcast decided to take a stroll over to the brand new Chic-Fil-A on 37th st and 6th ave in New York City to find out.

Thousands stood on lines wrapped around the long New York blocks to get a taste of that fresh chicken.

Some support Chic-Fil-A because it is a tasty fast food restaurant that serves juicy chicken with delicious sauces; others rally behind the commercial chain business because the owner is not afraid to stand up for his values. Whatever the reason, Monday at noon people were out in droves to grab a bite.

BREATHEcast learned first hand what people on the lines were thinking.

When asked why they would stand outside for 30mins to get into a fast-food restaurant it was clear Chic-Fil-A's reputation speaks for it self.

"It was strongly recommended by a friend and hopefully it's worth it," Brad said as he anticipated trying the food for the first time, "By the looks of this line it's looking worth it!"

His friend added, "It should be worth the wait. I had it once before and it hasn't failed yet."

Someone said they hopped on a train from downtown Manhattan to ensure that Chic-Fil-A got their support-opening weekend. "I wanted to support the NYC opening because it's a Christian company and although they might catch a lot flack. Chic-Fil-A is a company that care's about the people and the quality of what they serve," the young woman said.

In the Big Apple one usually sees lines for a Broadway show, the new iPhone or the latest pair of Jordan sneakers, but probably not for fast food until now. Brad maintained that it was not crazy to see a line in the city but "for some chicken? Yeah!"

Do not let the line intimidate you though, the new popular spot is fully staffed and ensures the customers that the line will go fast. The mascot cow was even out talking selfies with the people to pass the time. Upon entering the restaurant there are employees standing there with an iPad and tag to take orders and help facilitate a fast check out.
