Christian singer/songwriter Cheri Keaggy just completed her Kickstarter campaign for her upcoming album No Longer My Own by reaching the goal of $25,000 with only 33 hours left to go.

"The new album is not just 100% funded, it's 101% funded and pledges are still coming in! I feel like I've graduated and all ya'll are coming to the after party! Thank You, Lord! If you don"t wanna miss the fun, be sure and pledge by Thurs.Dec.18, 7pm CT," she wrote on Facebook.

At the time, the Dove Award winner seemed unsure of her task at hand, but with the campaign coming down to the wire she kept believing God would provide.

Stuck at the $16,000 mark for awhile, someone delivered in a huge way buy purchasing a $5,000 perk from the rewards.

"A LARGE pledge just came in!!! We're over the $21k mark with only $3,602 left to reach our goal! Jehovah-Jireh!!!!" Keaggy exclaimed on Facebook a few days ago. "There's still time to catch this train and be a part of the best kickstarter crew ever."

Last week Keaggy spoke to BC, and was asked about how hard it was to set a Kickstarter goal and trust that God will help meet it. Now she can be relieved in the fact that her faithfulness helped her to reach the goal.

"It can feel a little scary to press go on something like this, but God's love makes me want to live boldly and trust Him more fully. And He has proven Himself trustworthy," said Keaggy, "On setting the money goal, we tried to keep it conservative and intend to stretch the funds as far as we possibly can. It's important to me to be a good steward that way. This is kingdom money and it will be spent for kingdom purposes."
