Christian artist Carman Licciardello is asking prayer warriors to get together and stand firm in prayer for his ailing mother whose diagnosis is "not good."

"I just got the word last night that my mother was rushed to the E.R. with breathing issues," he wrote on Facebook. "She's 1 month shy of her 91st Birthday and the Doctors want to do heart surgery. Most of her Arteries are blocked. She doesn't want it."

The news comes at a time where Carman is in the midst of his big comeback tour, and having something as stressful and burdening as this situation is making it hard for him to concentrate on his ministry.

"It's so hard putting my head into a weekend of touring with this on the table. I'm just beside myself. She's always been there," he said.

He then posted a picture of his mother sitting and playing an accordion at a concert with a caption: "he only family musican to encourage me to pursue my dreams. Here she is in Tulsa Oklahoma at the Maybee Center in front of 11,000 people. She was a child prodigy on the Accordian and till this day can still play the fire out of that thing. She never got nervous once."

He concluded his message with, "Please pray or leave a kind note. I'll read them to her. I know it will mean so much. Love you all."

Any fan of Christian music knows what kind of impact Carman has had in the industry and also in helping over a million people receive Jesus as their Savior. In the past, Carman has overcome cancer by seeking the Lord and asking for prayer. He is looking to the Great Healer, to work another miracle.
