‘Captain America: Civil War’ Spoilers: What The ‘Sokovia Accords’ Document Holds [TRAILER]

While the "Captain America: Civil War" comic book storyline embodied the superhero registration act, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming slate, "Captain America: Civil War," will present the act as the Sokovia Accords.

Among the "props" in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, the "Sokovia Accords" is one of the "most intriguing," according to Cinema Blend. Serving as the cinematic adaptation of the superhero registration act in the comic books, the "Sokovia Accords" is recognized as the global superhero legislation that will trigger the prime conflict in "Captain America: Civil War."

"The Sokovia Accords" reads as follows:

"In accordance with the document at hand, I hereby certify that the below mentioned participants, peoples and individuals, shall no longer operate freely or unregulated, but instead operate under the rules, ordinances and governances of the aforementioned United Nations panel, acting only when and if the panel deems it appropriate and/or necessary."

The document also has the names of the Avengers to sign. They include Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, James Rhodes/War Machine, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Vision, Sam Wilson/Falcon, Steve Rogers/Captain America, and Tony Stark/Iron Man. Bruce Banners and Thor's names were not included on the paper, though they were involved in the Sokovian turmoil, as pointed out by Techno Buffalo.

In line with the agreement, it entails that a panel consisting of individuals from the United Nations is responsible for giving consent to the Avengers for making an attempt to stop global terror. According to previous reports, Tony Stark agrees to sign the agreement, with the guilt he has about the incident that happened in Sokovia. On the other hand, Steve Rogers, refuses to sign the document.

"Captain America: Civil War" centers on the fall of the Avengers into two factions, following the release of the "Sokovian Accords."

Captain America's team is joined by Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, and Ant-Man while Iron Man's team includes Black Panther, Black Widow, War Machine, and Vision. Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, is also set to debut in the film; but then, exact details on his role are yet to be revealed.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.
