Candace Cameron Bure Responds to Critics After Named No.1 Most Outspoken and Annoying Christian Celebrity [VIDEO]

Former 'Full House' actress Candace Cameron Bure recently sprung back into the spotlight and has been heavily ridiculed for her Christian faith. In a recent Facebook post the actress responded to her critics.

After revealing that she was a submissive wife in her book 'Balancing it All' Bure was viciously attacked in the media for her views. She gracefully defended her stance by using scripture and went on to compete in Season 18 of 'Dancing With the Stars'. The actress shared her modest values on the show and went on to place third in the competition.

A recent online publication voted the actress the Most Outspoken (And Annoying) Christian Celebrity, and Bure struck back by sharing with her over a million followers more about her conversion to Christianity.

"Since I topped the list as the #1 most outspoken (and annoying) Christian celebrity, I thought I'd take this opportunity to live up to my reputation and share my testimony with you!" she wrote on her Facebook page, adding, "I wouldn't want to disappoint anyone. Hehe."

Bure shared a blog with her followers and the post details her early life and when she first opened her heart to Jesus. It goes on to say that although she confessed her faith was Christian, she did not live like one, according to God's standards.

"It wasn't until I read the book Left Behind that I started rethinking my Christian life. There was one character that stood out to me. Pastor Bruce Barnes," she wrote, "He was left behind after the Rapture had occurred. I could not understand how a pastor could be left behind ... But, the book went on to explain, and it was my own ignorance that had me to believe that I could ask God into my heart, live my life the way I wanted to (even if it was not pleasing to the Lord), and still be in Heaven when I died. Boy, did I have it all wrong."

Bure's fans immediately backed the singer up, sending comments of support. One said, "They call you annoying for having morals, but people can sing about drugs and sex and walk around half naked, and no one bats an eye?! What a sad world we live in?"

Another wrote, "I always felt you spoke about your faith with grace and poise. I never felt that you shoved your beliefs down the throats of others."
