'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare' Remastered Version, Rumors Roundup: ‘Infinite Warfare’ Disc Needed To Play

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is set to get its "Remastered" version soon and it is revealed that the "Infinite Warfare" disc is needed for it to run.

According to Activision's official website, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is not set to have its separate disc just because it is a remastered game version. Instead, it is a full game digital download that is set to be part of the Digital Deluxe, Legacy, and Legacy Pro versions of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." As a game download, internet is also required.

As per Game Pur, Activision's move will not allow players to sell their "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" after a long period of time playing it. It is assumed that making "Remastered" as a full game digital download is the company's marketing strategy to pull up its sales on both the original "Infinite Warfare" game and the "Remastered" iteration.

In other news, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Remastered" is set to be released on Nov. 4, according to Gotta Be Mobile. As per the publication, the game will be released along with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" stands as full campaign and features ten multiplayer maps from the its predecessor. The upgrade is in addition to the high-dynamic range lighting, physically based rendering, next generation textures, high-quality images, which provide a "new generation" gaming experience for fans and players.

Developed by Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Treyarch, Inc., n-Space, and Aspyr Media, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" can be played on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, and OS X.
