'Breaking Bad' Season 6 News: Hoax Shatters Hopes of Fans of Walter White & Jesse Pinkman

The Emmy Award winning crime drama series 'Breaking Bad' seems to be caught up in a whirlwind of hoaxes as many fans wonder if there ever will be a Season 6.

According to National Report, Vince Gilligan, the series creator, hinted that there's a possibility that another installment would be made, "Walter White is not dead, and neither is Breaking Bad... We've kept it under wraps for months, now the cat's out of the bag. Season 6 is coming, and it's going to be epic and true to the fans that have followed the show so incessantly."

He continued to say that they will start filming in January 2015. To further confirm it, 'Breaking Bad' writer, Paul Horner, expressed his joy about the making of the Season 6. He said that, "Yes it's true. You don't know how much of a relief this is to finally get this off my back. I've been keeping this a secret for two long months now..."

He also released a spoiler which was, "Season six begins with Walt waking up in the hospital cuffed to his bed." This evidently lines up with what 'Breaking Bad' star Bryan Cranston's said in a statement, "nobody ever saw a body bag".

While this may seem like good news to fans worldwide, many are of the view that 'Breaking Bad' Season 6 is all one big hoax.

According to Mashable publisher Allen Montgomery, National Report is just a satire website.

Like Montgomery, The Independent has also criticized The National Report as a "satirical site" and that it "does not publish the truth."

Additionally, what's surprising is that the site previously published a disclaimer, but removed it later on.

The disclaimer read, "DISCLAIMER: National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways..."

Beyond that, in a recent editorial, National Report said, "Satire is not required to be humourous, nor was this particular post meant to be funny..."

With all the evidence stacked up against the source that said 'Breaking Bad' is coming back for a Season 6, it seems unlikely that this is anything beyond satire.
