BREATHEcast caught up with multi-award-winning singer Brandon Heath to discuss his upcoming album No Turning Back. The singer talked about overcoming fear, life on the road with his new bride, and their future plans.

His sixth studio album is slated to release Feb. 10, and centers in what he calls the most memorable moment he has had in his early life. It is about the moment he gave his life to the Lord as a teenager at a Young Life camp and was forever changed.

The record shares glimpses of life lessons that Heath recounts from his own journey such as forgiveness, fear, love and the power of relationships, including his mother and important mentors.

During his interview Heath spoke about tackling the theme of fear in the song "SOS."

"'SOS' is a song that was written by the producer of the record, Ed Cash, and Ed and I were both in Young Life when we were younger," he said, "I really wanted to touch on every emotion that I had back when I was in High School."

"I think fear kind of leaves us all ineffective. God says it so repeatedly 'do not be afraid' because I think He knows it really keeps us from living a full life," he continued, "So I think it's always a good thing to touch on. 'SOS' is really about being lost at sea."

Heath, a newly wed, spoke of his love for his wife Siebe on No Turning Back in the song "Girl of my dreams." In the heartfelt song the crooner speaks of his love for Siebe and details their journey together.

"I turned 36 over the summer and I just got married and it seems kind of late for somebody to get married but for me it's right on time," he told BREATHEcast.

For the recording of his sixth studio album the Nashville native returned to the camp where he had his transformation and said he lived vicariously through his bride.

"I brought my wife with me and I wanted her to see it for the first time, what I went through as a kid," he explained, "It was really neat to kind of show her."

Heath does not need to worry about missing Siebe while on the road because she gets to come out with him. "It's a weird existence being on the road so much but we have been really blessed. Siebe has been able to come with me on mostly all of my trips," Heath noted.

When asked whether or not the two would look to grow their family anytime soon he said, "We're kind of navigating life in general we are building a new house, taking one thing at a time, we're not talking kids quite yet. We're enjoying being married."

Heath said his favorite song on No Turning Back is most likely the tune, "Only Just Met You." "It's about the moment that I accepted him into my life," he explained and maintained that the song is probably the most pop he has ever went on a song.
