Brad Pitt Net Worth Rising With 'The Operators' Role Announced

New Military movie "The Operators," which takes place in Afghanistan and focuses on Genearl Stanley McChrystal, has found its leading man. Brad Pitt will play the role of McChrystal.

According to Celebritynetworth.com, the movie star currently has a net worth of $240 million, and that number will no doubt increase after another starring role in a major motion picture.

And there may be even more income for Pitt from this movie, as his production company Plan B will be producing "The Operators." Variety reported that the main producers of the movie will be Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.

"The Operators" will be directed by David Michod. Michod hails from Australia and is perhaps most well known for directing the independent hit "Animal Kingdom."

"The Operators" is based on the true events recorded in the book of the same name. Michael Hastings wrote his book "The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War In Afghanistan" in 2012.

This will certainly not be Pitt's first time in a movie focusing on war. He starred in many other militaristic movies including "Inglorious Bastards," "Fury," and though it was a war of a different era, "Troy."
