Jack Hodgins's paralysis is set to have a major impact to his life in the "Bones" season 11 midseason finale.

In his interview with TV Guide, "Bones" executive producer Michael Peterson said that Hodgin's situation was a process. He added that there was all such various stages of coping with a tragedy set a person to go through anger and denial, and Hodgin was really going to hit every single one of them.

Peterson detailed that Hodgin's situation affected his job, his relationship with Angela, and his interation with his children. The executive producer also mentioned that fans were going to see Hodgins as a guy who had had to work with anger management, who had used to snap his rubber band on his wrist to keep some of his anger in control.

According to Peterson, Hodgins was also going to be a little more Gregory House than Hodgins for a while. The character was set to be angry at the world, as it was not where life had been supposed to take him.

With regard to whether Hodgins would ever be able to walk again, Peterson clarified that one could not say never, but as far as they were concerned, her was going to be on a wheelchair.

About Angela, the character is set to need a shoulder to lean on, given a twist in her and Hodgins' life, as indicated by Peterson in the same interview. The executive producer mentioned that she was probably relying on Sebastian, making the latter her alternative life to an extent.

The future storyline will also see Hodgins and Angela as a couple, according to "Bones" executive producer John Collier. In his interview with TV Line, Collier said that they really wanted to test the relationship of the two and they had figured the world would have been a good way to do it.

Collier revealed that life was going to be challenging for the Hodgins and Angela. He added that while they believed in them as a couple, they really wanted to push them, as there was a good chance that Hodgins would never walk again.

"Bones" season 11 is set to return in March or April 2016.
