"Blue Bloods" season 7 will follow Jamie Reagan as he thinks of changing his career.

While it is common for police officers to involve themselves in just one job from the time they leave the academe into retirement, there are those who consider changing their career path somewhere along the way. The most common reason people consider taking a different path is that the grass is greener on the other side. It looks like for Jamie, this is worth considering.

The official synopsis for the episode provides further information on Jamie's situation, as well as Frank's new challenge as a commissioner.

"Danny and Baez are determined to get justice for a traumatized young woman who was held hostage, despite her resistance to press charges. Also, Frank deals with a PR nightmare when a prominent NYPD fundraiser is spotted cutting through Manhattan traffic in a fake police vehicle, and Jamie is offered a job as a technical advisor on a television show after working with the TV and Film unit," reads the synopsis.

Jamie's new offer as a technical advisor sounds tempting, but it remains to be seen if he will give in to the offer. And while he does not have any idea yet as to how much a technical advisor's salary is, and if he can do this job alongside his being a police officer, one thing is certain: the position is quite attractive and will certainly make it hard for Jamie to decide.
