Billboard's Top 5 Christian Charting Songs of 2013 - TobyMac, Mandisa, and More

These Christian artists were part of the top 5 songs of 2013 with their hit tunes. Not only were they performed at church concerts or played over Christian Contemporary radio but they also secured the top 5 slots on the Christian Billboard charts.

The Billboard charts record the popularity of songs or albums in the United States. For the year 2013 many songs were in competition. As the year came to an end, the following five Christian songs steadily held their position on the charts.

1)

The heartfelt song by Hillsong United, "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)," tops the list securing the number one spot. It was written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, and & Salomon Ligthelm lead by Taya Smith. In 2013, the Oceans EP comprised of several different versions of the song "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" from the album Zion

The number two spot goes to, "Light Of Christmas," performed by Owl City Featuring TobyMac. This festive song made its debut on the VeggieTales Christmas DVD. It was written by Adam Young, Matthew Thiessen, and Toby McKeehan.

The first single off of young singer Jamie Grace's upcoming album Ready To Fly, "Beautiful Day," takes the number three spot. The song was written by Christopher Stevens, Toby McKeehan, and Morgan Harper Nichols.

Coming in at forth place is the triumphant tune, "Overcomer," by Mandisa from her fouth album. The song was written by David Garcia, Christopher Stevens, and Ben Glover.

5)

Finally, closing out the fifth spot is the worshipful song, "This Is Amazing Grace," performed by Phil Wickham. It was written by Philip Wickham, Josh Farro, and Jeremy Riddle.
