Big Brother 16 Spoilers, Cast Rumors: Plot Twist Revealed

Big Brother 16 and The Talk host Julie Chen revealed that there will be new twists to the long running series when it returns to CBS next week.

Chen said on the June 18 episode of The Talk, that for the first time ever there will now be two HOH (Head of House) winners. Previously, when a person wins HOH, that individual receives immunity from being nominated and being voted out by his or her fellow houseguests for one week.

However, in the new season of Big Brother, there will be a brand new competition entitled Battle of the Block, where even the HOH winners will not be protected from possible eviction.

Since this season now has an extra HOH winner each week, now four people must be nominated for potential eviction (instead of typical two people) on a weekly basis.

Chen also revealed that the fans will now have power to control what will happen in the show in a brand new addition called Team America.

In the upcoming season, the show is rumored to take a page from last year's Survivor: Blood vs. Water, where past contestants will form a team and battle another squad comprising of family members who have never appeared on the show before.

"I heard Eric Stein is coming back. Although I don't like him on a personal level, I would love to see him play without the America's Player twist," said former Big Brother houseguest and fan favorite Janelle Pierzina, according to the Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

Other former contestants rumored to appear in the new season, are Big Brother 14 champion Ian Terry and his ex-houseguest member Frank Eudy (the real life son of former WWE Champion Sycho Sid Vicious).

Big Brother 16 debuts on Wednesday June 25 at 8pm EST on the CBS network.
