Beyonce & Jay Z Divorce Rumors: New Song 'Ring Off' Hints at Marriage Troubles?

A short snippet of Beyonce Knowles' "Ring Off" mentioned a marriage that was destroyed by infidelity which triggered some listeners to think the songstress made reference her marriage to Jay Z.

The track "Ring Off" contains the lyrics, "I was once the one who had his heart/ Until you had enough, then you took that ring off," which allegedly hinted that Beyonce and Jay Z are having difficulties in their relationship. The fans are worried that the couple are on the brink of divorce.

Additionally, "Ring Off" is supposedly the next chapter of the artist's hit single "Single Ladies."

In "Single Ladies," Beyonce sang, "If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it," while in the new single, she tells a different story of a woman who takes the "ring off" and "smiles through the tears," knowing her husband is being unfaithful to her.

Consequently, the track brought back the issue of Jay Z being dishonest in his relationship with Beyonce. Jay Z has been allegedly accused of cheating on Beyonce with several women. One of Jay Z's alleged mistress, Liv, released a music video entitled "Sorry Mrs. Carter" which was supposedly talking about Beyonce.

On the other hand, the song was also speculated to be about Tina Knowles, the singer's mother. Apparently, Mrs. Knowles divorced her husband after she found out he had children with other women. Furthermore, the song starts off with "Mama, you live and you learn," which strongly supports the idea that the song was about Beyonce's mom and not her.

Despite all the rumors the couple faces, Beyonce and Jay Z continue to show themselves together in the public. The 33-year old singer was spotted in New York City with her husband Jay Z Saturday.
