On Friday, Bethel Music digitally released its debut spontaneous worship album, Moments: Mighty Sound, featuring a collection of twelve songs captured live at Bethel Church in Redding, Calif., featuring fluid song arrangements interspersed with impromptu remarks and lyrics by its artists. The album includes new renditions of songs such as "Pieces," "Cornerstone," "Reckless Love," and other Bethel Music favorites which the artist collective says represents the merging of the stewarded (songs) and the divine (spontaneous), "where earthly efforts collide with Heaven's intervention."

"As worship leaders, we lead until our leading is no longer necessary and then we enhance what God is doing," says Bill Johnson, Senior Pastor at Bethel Church. "The goal should be that we disappear."

With extended moments of spontaneous worship, Moments: Mighty Sound captures the essence of Bethel Music's worship and what the ministry describes as the "cry of a people hungry for God's world to invade ours." Bethel Music says the aim of the album is to usher listeners into an encounter with God who inhabits the praises of his people.
