Battlefield 4 PC Update Causes Respawn Problems Despite New Patch

Battlefield 4 released a PC patch this week for gamers who were experiencing game play problems and other issues. Now, players of the game have been hit with a new glitch because of the update.

According to Polygon, gamers have had trouble respawning after being killed in the game. This becomes problematic when playing online because the whole point is being able to respawn to continue playing, putting them in some sort of weird limbo. Other problems include being kicked out of matches or suffering server connectivity issues.

Some forums for the game suggest updating the Punkbuster files, although this method only works for some users.

Game developer DICE said they would be releasing a number of patches throughout the month of January in an effort to fix up a lot of the game's ongoing problems.

The full list of game upgrades and fixes can be found on the BattleLog game site here.

"While millions of players are enjoying Battlefield 4, we are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the game," wrote Junior Product Manager Tommy Rydling on Battlelog. "While some platforms have had only minor problems, others have had more than their fair share of issues. Resolving these is our #1 priority."
