'Batman vs Superman' Movie Rumors, Plot Spoilers: Leaked Image Suggests Film Coming in Two Parts

According to an obscure picture posted by tipster who leaked the image, the anticipated 'Batman V Superman' film might just be split into two movies.

The person(s) who leaked the alleged image claims it's from a trailer for the movie and also claims they have actual film footage recorded via their iPhone.

The picture implies that the movie's first part will be called "Enter the Dark Knight", and release this fall in October. The second movie, "Dawn of Justice" will be released in 2016 in March.

"Now, this is very easy to fake. The teaser is certainly out there and will likely be attached to WB's Jupiter Ascending in February (and they filmed all that football stuff for the movie, so a Super Bowl showing wouldn't be a horrible idea). The version of the teaser we're aware of didn't have any titles. This would have to be a more complete version, or one that's poised for a Warner Bros. sneak attack," writes The Latino Review.

There hasn't been any footage released to the public concerning the movie, nor any confirmation that it has to particularly be one movie.

With such a huge franchise, the studio could benefit on releasing it in two parts, as we've seen major franchises follow this trend in the past.

The Latino Review adds, "Batman is a very profitable franchise character and given that this movie started as 'Man of Steel 2' and will suddenly insert an older Batman into the universe mid-continuity, that leaves a lot of world building needing to be done if a single movie is going to have an enjoyable battle between Batman and Superman that resolves in time to launch the Justice League concept. Toss in Doomsday, Lex Luthor and Zack Snyder's style and one can imagine Dawn of Justice being a 2.5 hour Superman slugfest."

These are all very true statements. With the amount of character and content the movie plans to pack into the movie, it might run into the problem of lacking continuity.

On that note, Warner Bros. has not yet commented on the rumors, leaving them up in the air at the moment.
