Batman vs Superman Movie News: Superhero Costumes for Characters, Wonder Woman to Be Revealed

With the buzz around the next installment of the Superman movie series increasing, news has emerged over the costume design for three beloved heroes of the D.C. Comics world.

The costume designs for each character could be released within a few days, according to Mark Hughes, a Forbes film blogger.

Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman will all be appearing in the next film. According to Hughes, their costumes could be released in as little as 7-9 days, and even the delayed release date of the movie will not hinder the sharing of their suit specifics.

Hughes speculates that the Batsuit will be slightly more conservative this time, and feature a simple breast plate. The Wonder Woman costume will also be less than revealing, evoking more of a kind of armor and not, according to Hughes, "a skimpy bathing suit." Wonder Woman the legendary Princess Diana of Themyscira, will be played by Gal Gadot.

As far as the Superman costume goes, Hughes speculates that there will be an "S" emblazoned on the chest, a conclusion which he arrived at from observing the last movie: "My guess a/b the 'S' is just b/c Lois told him 'here, it's an S.' So maybe he'd change that now that he's called 'Superman."

He continued, "And I'd guess maybe a belt or something in the waist-area since the design would benefit from something to break up the blue there."

Whatever the designs, there will be quite a few people who are looking forward to the costumes' releases, as well as for the new cinematic release date of the film, which has been bumped back several months and seems likely to occur on March 6, 2016.
