"Good to Me" singer Audrey Assad has released her second independent album, titled "Inheritance."

According to a press release, Assad is set to unveil her new album on Fortunate Fall records with Tone Tree Music distribution. The album is comprised of songs that blend artistic composure and fragile appreciation of music, in addition to hymns and songs that give tribute to her childhood heritage and Catholic faith and spirituality.

Assad co-produced "Inheritance" will "Canon Blue," "Joy Williams," and "Among Savages" artist Daniel James. With their joint efforts, the album encomasses one-of-a-kind dynamics with a cinematic fashion, alongside pristine textures and broad rhythms that blends the artist's vocals over a wide landscape of prayerful sense.

In a statement, Assad said that she had known that "Inheritance" had had to be much more than her going into the studio and simply doing pretty renditions of hymns people all knew and loved.

Assad also mentioned that she could not have been satisfied with that and she had had to make something both bright and dark colored, with her own doubts and weaknesses. The artist added that the Lord had inspired her songs and He could have been even more visible in them.

For Assad, "Inheritance" was an offering she was humbled, privileged, and challenged to make and she prayed it would be a gift to anyone who heard it.

According to The Christian Beat, "Inheritance" includes tracks like "Ubi Caritas," "Holy, Holy, Holy," "Be Thou My Vision," "I Wonder As I Wander," and "How Can I Keep From Singing," among others.

Alongside Assad's albums, she has also composed songs for Meredith Andrews, Sarah Hart, Brett Younker, Christy Nockels, and Matt Maheer, among others. She is also featured in Chris Tomlin's RIAA certified Gld record, titled "Glory in the Highest" and she has toured with Maher, Jars of Clay, and Tenth Avenue North, among others.

Assad's "Inheritance" album is set to be released on Feb. 12.
