Assassin's Creed 5 Unity Release Date, Latest Rumors: 2 Parts Coming November 2014

Ubisoft has announced that its historical action-adventure open world stealth video game "Assassin's Creed 5" will be launched in November 2014 in two parts. The first part "Unity" will be released for the Xbox One and PS4, maybe for the PC too, while the second part "Comet" will be released only for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Set in the times of the French revolution, the initial released footage of "Unity" shows that the supposed main characters watching an execution from the roof of Notre Dame church in Paris. We see fluttering tricolors, mingling crowds and smoking chimneys. The footage shows a distinct enhancement in graphic fidelity, but does not offer any gameplay clues.

Comet, on the other hand, appears that it will link the span between "Unity" and "AC4." It features a Knights Templer sailor navigating in the region of the American East Coast and New York. However, Ubisoft has not confirmed anything regarding this segment of "Assassin's Creed 5" or the probable return of Haythorn Kenway.

It is expected that "Unity" will include "far-too-difficult mini-games" that are supposedly difficult to move past quickly. According to the Inquisitr, this raises the question of whether the game's release date launch and gameplay trailer will reflect these difficulties.

Currently Ubisoft is scheduled to show gameplay as well as trailer footage of "Assassin's Creed 5" Unity at the upcoming E3 2014 conference. This has given rise to speculation that the game's developer will incorporate special features that are still unknown to most fans.

Polygon, however, reports that Laurent Detoc, President of Ubisoft North America, has said that his company is willing to delay the release date of "Assassin's Creed 5" if the gameplay quality is jeopardized.

The site quotes him saying, "You bring something fresh, but you have to bring quality too."
