'Aquaman' Movie News: New Photo of Jason Momoa as DC Superhero Stuns Fans

Jason Momoa of "Game of Thrones' fame is all set to star in the superhero movie, "Aquaman', according to the images released online by Warner Bros.

According to an announcement by the production house Warner Bros, it has announced the production of ten movies based on the DC Comics back catalog in October, according to The Guardian.

The actor is also said to appear in the much awaited movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', which will be directed by Zack Snyder and set to release sometime next year, as well as in the solo movie of the Aquaman, due to release in 2018 and two other Justice League movies in 2017 and 2019.

Snyder tweeted the first pic of Momoa as Aquaman with the caption: "There is only one true King. #unitetheseven".

According to the original DC Comics, the Aquaman is depicted as someone with blonde hair, golden armor, and green tights which is obliquely different from how Momoa looks like.

Also, the plot involves the Aquaman coming down to to the Atlantean surface to bridge the gap between those living above water and those living below "” he being the perfect symbol of such a union, having a parent from each of the two worlds, according to the Washington Post.

Speaking about his role adapted from the comic books, Momoa said 'He will be a bad-a**, otherwise they wouldn't cast me for the role,' according to ComicBook.

Fans seem to be really happy with the casting of the role.
