Apple iWatch Release Date News: Tech Titan Sends Invites for Launch Event - Hints Apple Watch Debut

Technology giant Apple began sending out media invites to various tech blogs this week. On the invite is the company's logo layered in front of many bright colors with the tagline "Spring Forward."

With the tagline and Daylight Savings Time for the US occurring the day before the event, many sources speculate that the company will reveal its new line of Apple Watch. Other reason for people to speculate that the Apple Watch will be the main talk at the event is Apple's official launch of the new smartwatch is in April, which is a month after the March event.

According to Tech Crunch, the Apple Watch will come in three brands: Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch, and Apple Watch Edition. The price for the Apple Watch has already been announced at around $350. Since its initial launch last fall, Apple Watch received good reviews throughout the technology community.

Apple is known for keeping its announcements secret, especially with other company's information about their devices being leaked throughout the Internet in hype for this year's Mobile World Congress.

The newest Apple Watch devices will touch activated and will feature a new haptic feedback, digital crown and remote controlled apps that can connect to other iOS devices. Details about more accurate pricings, battery life and other features are reported to be announced at the event.

Other contenders to be talked about and shown at the event are the 12-inch Retina MacBook Air and updates for the 11-inch and 13-inch Macbook Air models.

According to The Verge, Apple's latest event is scheduled for March 9 at 10:00 am at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center of Arts.
