Apple iPad Air 3 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Reveal In March?

A lot of people were disappointed when the anticipated launch of the new Apple iPad Air 3 didn't push through for a fall release date.

Instead of launching the new iPad Air 3 and iPad Pro at the same time, Apple chose to launch only one tablet at a time. Apple may have good reason for delaying another tablet since tablet sales have been declining.

It's not because people don't use them anymore. No. It's actually because apps for tablets are generally made to work well even with older generation tablets. This would mean that customers wouldn't need to buy new tablets in the near future.

According to an IT Pro report (via Christian Post), while more customers are using tablets today, Apple and the rest of the gadget producing companies should expect a slight decrease in tablet sales.

According to prevalent rumors, the iPad Air 3 will be shown to the public within the first three months of 2016, most likely in March, and will be available for mass consumption sometime around April or May. A lot of people are just keeping their fingers crossed that the new Apple product will be worth the wait.

According to Tech Gadget Central, the iPad Air 3 specs are expected to be more powerful than its previous incarnation, iPad Air 2. The updated tablet will most likely come with an A9X chip or even a next generation processor compared to the one that the current iPad Pro is equipped with.

The upcoming device might feature an improved memory as well. It is expected to offer a 3 GB of RAM while internal storage could be from 16 GB or 32 GB up to 128GB.

The tablet's expected 9.7-inch screen might feature a 4K screen resolution of 2334x3112 pixels while it is also speculated to have an improved 13 MP back camera and a 5 MP or an 8 MP front-facing camera. Touch ID is also a feature that most likely will be included as one of the specs of the Apple iPad Air 3.
