Angela Miller Could Be “American Idol’s” First Female Winner in 6 Years!

So even though we're not even in the Top 20 in season 12 of American Idol, I'm prepared to make a bold prediction. Angela Miller is going to win. After a nailed performance in sudden death on the Feb. 20th episode, Miller proved she was a born star.

If you thought her impassioned solo performance during Hollywood Week was her threshold, think again. She followed up with a version Jessie J's "Nobody's Perfect". Apparently Angela Miller didn't get the memo from J, because she was somebody, and she was perfect. Not only did she sound like a winner but she came out owning the stage like a pro, and looking like a sexy Taylor Swift copycat with the black front-button romper.

Her incredible piano performance during Hollywood Week really made Angela Miller a clear-cut favorite for this year's finals. The judges: Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy - couldn't stop raving about the songstress' performance that night. If that wasn't enough, Miller took a page out of one of last year's darling performers, Colton Dixon (also an outspoken Christian), and performed, "You Set Me Free"; a song she wrote herself.

If Angela Miller's stellar performances aren't enough, it does seem American Idol is pushing for a female winner. If Angela Miller won season 12 she'd be the first female to do so in 6 years. If Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, two of the most successful contestants in the show's history, both won Grammys this year, who's going to carry torch?

I know who: Angela Miller.
