Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update: Samsung Galaxy Devices Will Be Updated Soon?

Up until now, not all the smartphones of Samsung are updated to the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. With the recent announcement that the Android N update will be launched soon, it may be hard to figure out if the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow would still be relevant or if it ever happens at all for the rest of the smartphones.

According to MobiPicker, Samsung still has not upgraded to the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7, Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Tab S2, to name a few. However, it may be a sign of hope that the update will be coming out real soon now that the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 are now running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Korea. Also the Galaxy A8 will soon be on the Marshmallow update as well in China.

Meanwhile, according to Neuro Gadget, Sony Xperia Z2, Z3 and Z3 Compact have finally gotten the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. The update that those Sony Xperia phone got had come with 400 fixes and improvements altogether. The very irritating unknown call/private number bug has now been solved. Also, users of those phones can now transfer applications to microSD cards. There might be even more improvements to come for these devices.

For the phone that are still in the beta program, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is now available on the Xperia Z2 (D6503), Xperia Z3 (D6603) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) to users who are in America, Canada and India. It is with great possibilities that the Z4 Tablet, Z3 Tablet Compact, M5, C5 Ultra, M4 Aqua and C4 will also be updated to the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
