'American Horror Story' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Docu Series Leaks Cast Of Sixth Season

The "American Horror Story" just kicked off its new season with one of its most interesting themes yet.

Season 6 opened with a true-crime documentary titled "My Roanoke Nightmare: An American Horror Story," which featured the dramatic reenactments of Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding, Jr.  The documentary documents the story of a couple who moved to Roanoke Island in North Carolina to start anew after the death of their unborn child. However, things got freaky when they decided to live in an old farmhouse in the island.

The real-life couple Shelby and Matt were portrayed by "Asylum" actress Lily Rabe and Andre Holland, while Paulson and Gooding, Jr. served as their reenactors. It was deemed an inspired casting from co-creator Ryan Murphy.

Towards the end of the premiere episode, Shelby found herself in the woods of Roanoke, where she stumbled upon what seemed to be the lost settlers of the island. One of them was played by Kathy Bates. The scene also gave a first glimpse of Lady Gaga, who was standing by Bates during a blood sacrifice.

The episode also featured Denis O'Hare, who appeared as the crazy guy in the footage found in the old house by Shelby and Matt's sister, Lee.

While the premiere episode revealed some of the cast members of season 6, some actors did not appear, including Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson and Wes Bentley.

Recently, FX released the teaser for the upcoming episode, titled "Chapter Two." The teaser gave viewers a closer look into the shenanigans of the season.

"American Horror Story" airs every Wednesday, 10:00 P.M. on FX.
