'American Horror Story' Season 6 Episode 10 Finale Spoilers, Preview: Lara Winters Set To Interview Sole Survivor From Sarah Paulson's Asylum

Things are going to get even more complicated in episode 10 of "American Horror Story: Roanake."

As the series comes to a close, several theories are surfacing as to the confirmed return of Lana Winters. The official trailer for the episode confirms the details of her return.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy previously teased through his official Twitter account that viewers will see the return of Lana Winters in "American Horror Story: Roanoke." On Halloween night, Murphy announced that the character will return to the series, reiterating that she is the ultimate survivor from Sarah Paulson's Asylum.

Since her return was confirmed, fans of the series have begun making speculations about her role in the season finale. One theory claims that Winters will be the one to interview the character who will survive in the "Three Days in Hell" episode.

Another theory claims that Sarah Paulson will appear both as the journalist Lana Winters and the actress Audrey Tindall. Some believe that she will be interviewed about the release of her final book, titled "Roanoke: One Man's/Woman's Story of Survival." This plot coincides with the events in the season 2 finale, where Winters was also interviewed about her upcoming book. In that scene, she mentioned that she had written two books. There are theories that the subject of the interview in the season 3 finale is her second book.

The promo for the episode, however, reveals that Winters will appear in the finale to interview Lee, the sole survivor from the previous episode. The episode will particularly unveil the trial of Lee for the murder of Monet.

"American Horror Story" season 6, episode 10 airs Nov. 16 on FX.
