American Horror Story Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: 'Freak Show' Will Not Disappoint, Cast Member Promises

Sarah Paulson has portrayed a range of overwhelming supporting characters since she signed on with "American Horror Story, the long-running horror television series on FX. Most of her characters so far have not been too malicious, but somewhat good natured. However, as we go through the spoilers for Season 4 we learn that her latest role may not be as sweet and innocent as her previous ones.

In a video chat with Gold Derby, Paulson teased fans regarding the upcoming "American Horror Story Season 4: Freak Show," which is scheduled to premiere this fall.

While the actress has not disclosed the precise details regarding the storyline and the character she's is portraying, Paulson drew the fans' attention saying, "Oh Boy, it's not going to disappoint!"

Paulson, who has been with the show since season one, also gushed, "I know lots... I do know a lot of things... I really think people are not going to be disappointed. And, it's going to be very different than last year... in all the best ways."

It is interesting to note that Paulson also talked about the show's co-producer and co-creator Ryan Murphy and his role in the success of the series. In fact, she said that Murphy "organized" the whole idea.

Talking to the Entertainment Weekly Radio, Murphy revealed that Sarah Paulson will be playing the most challenging role in "American Horror Show" Season 4. He also said that the role required Paulson learning a new skill so that she is able to portray her character more convincingly. In fact, Paulson has undergone thorough training to become an excellent performer - she reportedly did some "physical, rigors."

According to Murphy, Paulson's character In "American Horror Story Season 4; Freak Show" is the most challenging character he has ever created. He said, "I'm nervous for Sarah."

At the same time, he also revealed that lead star Jessica Lange is will portray a German expatriate, who is said to be the manager of the final freak shows in the U.S.

Earlier, the network disclosed that while the titular "Freak Show" based in the storyline's Jupiter, Florida, the filming of the series will take place in New Orleans and the setting of the story is in the 1950's.

Meanwhile, there are recent reports that two lead, yet to be confirmed, actors of "American Horror Story" will not be returning in the upcoming season. Young actress Taissa Farmiga, who plays Zoe in Coven, is reportedly not returning in the upcoming season due to her packed schedule.
