'American Horror Story' Season 4 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers: 'Freak Show' Scarier Than 'Coven'? Airs Oct. 8

'American Horror Story', the popular horror-drama series, is all set to return for its fourth season on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 pm ET on FX. The fourth season of the show has been subtitled 'Freak Show'.

While fans are eagerly awaiting the first episode of the new season, 'American Horror Show' cast member Emma Roberts teased them with a number of behind the scene photographs from the sets of the show via Instagram.

In 'American Horror Show' Season 4, Roberts will portray the character of Maggie Esmerelda, who is a soothsayer in the show. In fact, Roberts has released a photo of herself together with another actress, who will be featured in the Season 4 of the popular FX series - Jyoti Amge, a 20-year-old who is appearing in Season 4 in the role of Ma Petite, the smallest woman in the world.

It is worth mentioning here that the Guinness Book of World Records has confirmed Amge to be the smallest woman in the world on her 18th birthday, when they recorded her height at 2 feet and 0.6 inches. She reportedly has a growth condition known as achondroplasia.

Roberts said that 'Freak Show' will be much scarier compared to the previous season, 'Coven'.

Talking to E! News, Roberts said, "I have to say, 'Freak Show' is really scarier," adding, "I read the script and I was having nightmares."

Meanwhile, Ryan Murphy, the brain behind the FX series, has also indicated that even cast members have been spooked by the new season. He said, "Two crew members told me they have had nightmares about this clown since we started shooting -- and they're not even scared of clowns. I think he's pretty extraordinary because, when you see why he's a clown and why he's wearing the mask ... just you wait."

"I'm worried that people are going to have cardiac arrests," he mentioned.
