Amazing Spider-Man 3 Release Date: Premiere Date Postponed and Storyline Undecided

Ever since Sony Pictures pushed back the release date of the third installment in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' series, fans have become worried about its production. Apparently, there has been little to no news about its specific launch date or even its storyline.

On August, it was reported that the release date for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' has been changed to sometime in 2018.

The postponement of release date was reportedly done to give way to three rumored spin-off movies, 'Sinister Six', 'Venom' and a Spider Man female superhero movie.

'Sinister Six' and 'Venom', both villain movies, are expected to be released in 2016 and 2017, respectively, while the still untitled Spider Man female superhero movie will be released in 2017.

Reports say that 'Sinister Six', is about a group of Spider Man's most dangerous villains. Beyond that, they are supposed to appear in the 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' to boot. However, besides Electro, which villains will be features had not been revealed.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Emma Stone might make a comeback in the third installment of the 'The Amazing Spider-Man', despite her character's death in the second movie.

In an interview, Stone hinted the possibility of her return for the next addition to the franchise.

"There could be a-I don't know, there's a whole plotline that could happen that may bring her back," Stone told Screen Rant when asked if it is the last time she would be working with the Spider-Man team.

Rumors about this say that Stone could come back as either Mary Jane Watson, or Carnage Symbiote, the villain who killed Gwen Stacy and absorbed her life force during their first encounter.

Another speculation is that the inclusion of the 'Sinister Six' in the film would allow Stone to be back in the movie as a clone of Mysterio.
