Alicia Keys New Album 2015 Rumors: New Style, Secret Recordings, World Tour?

Alicia Keys has returned to the studio to record a new "back-to-basics" album that is slated for an early 2015 release.

"With this album, I find I have much more I want to talk about. This album is more about the concept, the thought I'm trying to get across, where in the past it's been more about the melody. This time it's more about what we're going through as human being," Keys explained to Women's Wear Daily.

It is expected that the upcoming album will be taken from her deep and personal experiences. This time, according to Keys, it will be more about the lyrical quality of the songs and less focused on the melody, which is her forte.

"We all experience similar things. I find that the world puts us in these boxes where we're only allowed to be one way - like, 'to succeed as a career woman, you need to do it this way,' or 'to be a gay man, you have to be this way.' First of all, we're so much more complex than that. It's about breaking down those boundaries. The songs concentrate on concepts like that. As human beings, we like to identify with something, and as for me, I love people with a strong point of view," she explained," Keys told the magazine.

Fans will have to wait to find out what new and exciting music Keys will bring to the table. According to reports, Keys has placed security on the doors of the studio to prevent eavesdropping of any kind, and kept any other information on the album classified.

The "Girl is on Fire" singer is also rumored to have a world tour right after her sixth album release, but representatives are keeping tight lipped regarding the issue. While the world tour would surely be a big step in the singer's return, the album is still in its early stages, so much is yet to be determined.
