Many fans of ABC's hit show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be delighted to hear that the character Maria Hill, played by actress Cobie Smulders will be returning to the show within the month.

The show's executive producer Jeffrey bell recently spoke to Marvel about Maria's return, TV Guide reported.

"I think it's a great opportunity for her and Coulson to be in some conflict because he's the guy who doesn't want to let go, and she's the one that's clearly moved on," Bell said.

In other "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." news, Bell recently spoke about some spoilers for the rest of the season.

It seems as if other themes for the remainder of the season will include the Centipede program, which many fans are eager to find out about.

"When we told the berserker staff story and the story of the man who could control fire, it was all about moving forward with the Centipede program," he said.

"The Centipede program clearly has something to do with the H word. Where that goes and how that ties together is something that you can look forward to," Bell explained.
