50 Shades of Grey movie update!

Finally some confirmed 50 Shades of Grey details! Producer Dana Brunetti confirmed the kinky movie adaptation's release date: August 1 2014!

Along with a release date, the 50 Shades camp also announced Sam Taylor-Johnson as director and Kelly Marcel as screenwriter. August 2014 is still far away which means my job for the next few months will be following potential cast members.

Oh, 50 Shades of Grey cast rumors, how I love thee. Let me count the ways!

Ok, so we have a director and we have a release date. Now all we need is a cast.

A source close to the 50 Shades movie told Hollywood Life, the cast would be revealed sooner than later.

"A reveal of the cast is currently planned for Comic-Con."

Comic-Con 2013 is scheduled for July 18-21.

Could we finally put an end to all the 50 Shades of Grey cast rumors once and for all. And as soon as July?!

Let's roundup all of the possible candidates for S&M-crazed Christian Grey and innocently sultry Anastasia Steele.

We know that Vampire Diaries star, Ian Somerhalder and Gilmore Girls sweetheart Alexis Bledel are frontrunners for the film. Superman actor Matt Bomer has also topped fan polls across the Web and even has a few dedicated fan trailers created with him and Bledel mashed up as the new 50 Shades couple. If rumors are true we'll just have to wait until July for Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego.
