'24' Season 10 'Live Another Day' Will Not Renewed Due to Declining Viewers?

With '24' Season 10 ending Monday, many fans are wondering whether or not "Live Another Day" will be remade or cancelled. Fox has not given any word about it but based on the number of times the series has been watched since the first season, the case could be that "Live Another Day" could either be cancelled or remade.

Viewership statistics dictate that the series has not dropped from 10 million views per episode since season 1 up to season 7. The number only went below the 10 million mark on the last three episodes of seventh season.

Ever since season 8, viewership has dropped from the 10 million mark, only getting 8.5 million views per episode. The number dropped even more in "Live Another Day" with an all-time low of 5.6 million. Trend dictates that a renewal of the show will drop viewership even more.

'24' executive producer Robert Cochran confirmed that Jack Bauer would not die in "Live Another Day." This meant that Kiefer Sutherland had a chance to return to the series. There were however, no plans to continue the series in 2015, but there was a chance that the show would continue in 2016.

"As of now, there are no plans to continue the show next year but we remain open to the possibility. We had a great time doing it this year and would love to take another crack at it," Executive producer Manny Soto said to fans on Reddit.

Executive producers are not rushing to get another season underway. They will be waiting to see how things will turn out for the series and decide from there whether or not to create another season.
