20th Century Fox released a more in-depth trailer of the upcoming movie, 'Exodus: Gods and Kings', whiched showed a glimpse of the burning bush, Moses' relationship with his wife and family, his battle with Ramses, and more. View the new trailer below.

The Ridley Scott film is set to release in December, but is already receiving criticism from skeptics who think the director will stray away from Bible truths. The trailer depicts the relationship between Moses and Ramses (including their battle), Moses' relationship with his wife, as well as a showcase of the Ten Plagues.

'Exodus: Gods and Kings' stars Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, John Turturro, Aaron Paul, Ben Mendelsohn, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley. According to the film summary the movie is set to retell the biblical account, found in Exodus, of Moses- a prophet who stood up to Pharaoh Ramses and helps free more than 600,000 slaves. Moses will then lead those people through the desert away from Egypt.

The movie was filmed in Almería, Spain along the Mediterranean Sea, in Fuerteventura, and on one of the Canary Islands.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Bale said that the film will be nothing like the 1956 interpretation of the Moses' story, 'The Ten Commandments', starring Charlton Heston as Moses.

"The biblical account of Moses is extraordinary, and there was lots of room for us to go to places that 'The Ten Commandments' never dreamed of going," Oscar-winning actor Bale said.
