2014 MTV Movie Awards: Mark Wahlberg Wins Generation Award Saying 'It's Palm Sunday...I Love the Lord' Despite Swearing Through Speech (VIDEO)

The 2014 MTV Movie awards was filled with its usual wild antics, but the Twitter universe was especially talking about Mark Wahlberg's acceptance speech in which he cursed profusely, encouraged Americans to go for the dream, and publicly confessed his love for God.

Wahlberg was honored by the television channel and given the generation award. Which he said is actually "the too F****** old to come back award." He assured the crowd he was being serious but none the less declared "it was a great run."

He went on to proclaim, "I'm truly blessed," and said he has "had an extraordinary life in so many ways."

He accredited growing up in the land of opportunity to his success, and also paid homage to two American Christian athletes that earned recent victories along with giving a shout out the Palm Sunday.

"This is America and anything is possible... It is a great weekend for a lot of people. Manny Pacquiao won last night, Bubba Watson, a great lefty won last night, and it's also Palm Sunday, so God bless you all. I love the Lord, I love you guys, I love my wife and my family, thank you guys."

Immediately following the speech Wahlberg became a topic on Twitter with many praising him for acknowledging God and Palm Sunday.
