Christians can often times be reserved about popular secular tunes but some of the biggest names in Christian music do not seem to have an issue with covering mainstreams popular tunes. Here is a list of covers by some of your favorite Christian artists doing some of the biggest hits in pop music.

1. Anthem Lights

The Christian pop band Anthem Lights is one of the latest bands to cover a mainstream song. This group of Nashville guys covered "Out of the Woods" by Taylor Swift, watch below:

2. Matthew West

Matthew West is one of the biggest names in Christian music and the singer recently partnered with the Kansas City Royals to do a baseball version of Lorde's "Royals" specifically for the game.

3 & 4. Crowder

Crowder's worship songs are sung in churches throughout the world. During his latest Neon Steeples Tour the singer covers both "Wake me Up" by Avicii and "Turn Down for What" by Lil Jon.

5. Jamie Grace & Citizen Way

Young pop singer Jamie Grace is always doing covers and is most known for doing Michael Buble covers. Buble even covered one of her tunes as well. For this cover, the band Citizen Way joins Grace for "Haven't Met You Yet" by Buble.

6. Kari Jobe Jamie Grace, Dara Maclean, Blanca, & Nirva

Christian singers Kari Jobe, Jamie Grace, Dara Maclean, Blanca and Nirva teamed up to do a passionate version of the huge hit song "Hallelujah" by the late Jeff Buckley.

7. MercyMe

Contemporary Christian band MercyMe covers mainstream songs so much that they actually have named their cover series the "Cover Tune Grab Bag." In this particular video the comical band covers the famous hit, "Beat It" by the legendary Michael Jackson.

8. Lecrae, Canon, & MercyMe

In another episode of the "Cover Tune Grab Bag" rapper Lecrae and Canon join MercyMe to cover Justin Bieber's popular hit "Baby."

9. Family Force 5

Christian eccentric rock band Family Force 5 cover "Bulletproof" by La Roux during one of their concerts.

10. Relient K

Like wise the popular rock band Relient K did a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" for a cover album they put out. Below is a video of the band doing the song at one of their shows.

11. Pillar

Christian Rock band Pillar took on "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2.

12. DC Talk

Back when the band was together DC Talk received a lot of heat for mixing in the song "Help" by the world renowned Beatles in their concert "Welcome To The Freakshow."
