Miami Heat Roster 2014 Rumors: Ray Allen Might Not Return, Lebron James Jealous of Dwayne Wade? (VIDEO)

The latest NBA rumors state that former NBA Champion Ray Allen will not return to the club, and subsequent reports claim that Lebron James left the Miami Heat's due to his alleged jealousy of Dwayne Wade.

"There have been some interesting theories about all of this - #1 - Akron was where he wanted to raise his kids. This move was a lot about family and lifestyle. He referenced Miami like going away to college. #2 - It's not as much fun to be a mercenary as you think," said Basketball Insiders Steve Kyler on his aforementioned website.

He added, "This was said to me around the draft, that as much as LeBron meant to Miami, Dwayne Wade was always treated better and I think LeBron wanted that unconditional love you get from your hometown."

Kyler's stunning and controversial quote was also featured in a Sports Illustrated article online, but that scenario of James being allegedly jealous seems unlikely since he is thought to be the best player in the NBA (Thunder's Kevin Durant is a very close second in the league), let alone on the Heat roster for the past couple of years.

In addition, while Wade is a terrific clutch NBA player, the problem with the three-time NBA champion is that he is extremely injury prone.

"I don't think his [Lebron's] mindset on coming back to Cleveland was quite like it was when he went to Miami, where he was going there to get championships. I do think you are reading a lot into things that don't have as much meaning as you are placing them, but I don't know this was 100% about basketball. I do think this was a lot more about LeBron's off-the-court life," said Kyler.

"We'll see if this is where it all ends - I think he's going to do exactly what he's said he'd do... re-up after the new TV deal, but he has never done what anyone thought he'd do, so we'll see," he mentioned.

In other Heat news, Ray Allen addressed the rumors that he might not resign with Miami this upcoming season.

"It's August and I don't want to rush to judgment," said Allen on August 8 at the seventh annual Jim Calhoun Charity All-Star Classic event, according to Sun-Sentinel, "I want to get to September and see how I really feel."
