Concerning Hurricane Katrina, the Student Ministry of Franklin Fellowship Church of Franklin, Tenn., will host a free benefit concert titled “Rock 4 Relief,” on September 19th.
The concert will feature acclaimed Christian artists Jonah 33, Fusebox, Nate Sallie, and Inhabited. In addition to their live performances, each bands’ label has donated CD’s which will be packaged together and sold at an extreme discount, with every penny going to victim relief.
The event’s coordinator, Vince Wilcox of VanLiere-Wilcox artist management, was thrilled by the immediate support offered by the artists, their managers, and their labels. Wilcox comments: “These bands represent not only the highest caliber of talent, but also the deepest sense of character and servanthood. They didn’t hesitate a moment to volunteer their time and talent. If the community responds in kind, then we’d love to add a second show at 9PM.”
Although the admission to the concert is free, sponsors highly encourage attendees to make a generous financial contribution at the event.
Seating is extremely limited, so concert-goers should reserve up to four passes by emailing hello@vanlierewilcox.com and getting a confirmation email that will serve as their ticket. Directions to the church may be found on the FAQ page of Franklin Fellowship’s web site, www.franklinfellowship.com.
