Nyack College Global Service Learning
Nyack students are living out the college’s commitment to its core values by studying and serving globally. In addition to the semester abroad program and Nyack-sponsored missions trips, the college each year offers several Global Service Learning Winterim courses.
These courses are available to any Nyack College student, and financial aid will apply to the courses, and associated in country costs. Juniors and seniors who have spent five consecutive semesters at Nyack, with a GPA of at least 2.75 are eligible for a Winterim stipend.
Past Winterims have included Dominican Republic, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Mozambique, Philippines and Spain. 2010 Winterims include Italy, Israel, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Philippines and Hungary
