I knew I'd get your attention with a title like this, because when money is mentioned people listen. Money answers all things. We need it to live in this world and do business. However, it's so very important that we use it as a tool and never allow it to rule us like a master. The value of a man or woman's life is not in the things they possess.
If you think that you are less than those around you because you don't have as much as they do, believe it or not you'll think that you're more than those around you when God blesses you. Now you maybe saying to yourself, "I'm not that kind of person", but it's true. How you view people with wealth now, will affect how you view yourself when you become wealthy. We have to be so careful not to esteem someone highly simply based upon what they possess. A man or woman should be judged by the content of their character and nothing more. The wealthiest man to ever live was King Solomon who had a personal fortune estimated to be in the Trillions of dollars. He was quoted in Proverbs 14:20 as having said "The poor is despised by his neighbor but the rich have many friends"..
It's sad but when people have something we want we put up with more from them than we would if they were poor. You don't have to say amen but I know I'm telling the truth.
I'm saying all of this because I know that the Lord wants to increase you. However, before he can, our thinking has to change. If you know that this is where you are, just ask the Lord to help you see people like he sees them. Ask God to help you to view money as a tool that can be used to bring him glory and He will! It's just that simple.
God is going to bless you to be a blessing and if you're reading this then make no mistake about it, yes I'm talking to you. As I stated in my previous blog it's no accident that you are reading this right now. So I hope you're ready for the best days of you're life cause they're just around the corner.
