ZTE Axon 7 Mini Release Date, Price, Specs: Pre-Orders Available Now At $299.98

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini release date has been announced to be on Oct. 31, but the good news is you can now start with the pre-orders for the device.

The website of the Chinese manufacturer announced the pre-order at $299.98. The device is billed to be a smaller version of the Axon 7, which is priced at around $399.98

Aside from the website, you can also pre-order the ZTE Axon 7 Mini from Best Buy, Amazon, B&H and NewEgg ahead of the release date at the end of the month.

For the first two months, however, the Ion Gold version of the phone will only be available on Best Buy.

As to the specs of the ZTE Axon 7, it's run by Octa-core 4x1.5 Ghz Cortex-A53 and 4x1.2 GHz Cortex-A5. The 5.2-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 4x1.2 GHz Cortex-A5. It features the Snapdragon 617 processor on 3 GB of RAM.It's still running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and there's no report when the Android Nougat will roll out to the device.

The main snapper has a 16 MP and 8 MP for the front snapper. The main battery for the ZTE Axon 7 Mini has 2705mAh, which is good for 15 hours of talk time and 270 hours of standby time. It has a fast charging technology allowing you to charge 50% in just half an hour. But the bad news is that it's not going to be removable.

Europe actually had an earlier release date for ZTE Axon 7 Mini, according to the news reports, for a price tag of €299.
