Following the encounter with the league called "Zeroes," it may be necessary for Operation Bite Mark to dissolve their fresh allegiance for their survival in "Z Nation" season 2 episode 13.

"Z Nation" season 2 episode 13 is entitled "Adios, Muchachos." According to International Business Times, episode 13 will see the group engage into an undefined business, since their head La Reina proposes an ultimatum to them.

Also, Dr. Kurian, who was captured by the Zeroes, works on a cure for the zombie outbreak, since her was the accountable for the zombie outbreak in the "Z Nation" season 1 finale. Murphy also shows up, knowing that he can use his blood to make the cure. Kurian also tricks the Zeroes, revealing to them that the serum he made just boosts man's vulnerability to Murphy's mental manipulation.

The cure is also wished to be used on La Reina; nonetheless, the plan does not seem to go well, according to TV Guide. Aside from Dr. Kurian's vaccine and Murphy's mind manipulation, episode 13 will also see Warren try to rescue Vasquez from his possible death.

In "Z Nation" season 2 episode 12, entitled "Party with the Zeroes," the group was seen close to the Mexican border, defending themselves from a horde of zombies. They are saved by Escorpion, who escorted them to La Reina, "the Queen of the Dead." The latter presented the group two options - to leave with a reward in exchange for Murphy or to stay and join her crew. The team opted to join La Reina's group.

During the team's induction as new member of the family, Vasquez recognized that Escorpion was the one who killed his wife and children. As a result, the former tried to shoot their rescuer; however, Roberta stopped him. Also, Dr. Kurian also claimed to have used Murphy's blood to create a cure for the zombie outbreak. Then, La Reina submits Vasquez as a test subject for the said cure.
