The Luis Palau foundation has successfully brought hundreds of thousands together in New York City during the summer months to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. During one of the biggest events held at Radio City Music Hall, Michael Tait of the Newsboys testifies of God's goodness and says the world may have once been going to hell in a hand basket but now that basket is gone and everything is crazy.

Hundreds of Christians and visitors packed out the iconic venue at radio city music hall to hear the good news offered from Luis Palau and his guest performers and speakers. Among the speakers and performers were Argentinian group Amanecer, Best selling author Eric Metaxas, and the award winning bands Third Day and Newsboys.

As Newsboys closed out the night, front man Tait shared openly with the audience, "Guys the world has gone crazy. As my granddad would say ' The worlds going to hell in a hand basket.' I've got news tonight. The hand basket is gone it's cray cray," he said in between his set.

Tait then proceeded to give the audience some background information about his life. The DC native spoke about his family and revealed the harsh realities that he has endured.

"He's in heaven now, but my dad, like Luis was a man that preached the gospel. I'm the baby of 9 kids," he explained, "I have a brother getting out of jail for the first time in 25 years on July 21. I have a sister the oldest sister, [That in] 96 she lost her life to HIV AIDS."

He went on to say people assume he has a great life because he was in DC Talk and is now in the Newsboys but testified that his great life has come from a relationship with Jesus.

"I have a great and promise life in Christ. Yes I do, but that fact is people are hurting, take time to talk to them, lay down your life, give them Christ," Tait concluded his emotional speech by segueing into the bands popular new song, "We Belive."

"We believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, we believe in the crucifixion, we believe that He conquered, and we believe in the mighty supernatural resurrection, and we know that He's coming back again. That's what we believe," he declared.
