'Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War 3' News: Game Features Jonah Orion As Chief Librarian?

New details on Relic Entertainment's "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" elite hero Jonah Orion have surfaced.

Orion is set to be the Blood Raven's Chief Librarian in the game, as per Eurogamer. This would imply he is set to be a Space Marine who has immense psychic powers. The article adds that the character ascended as Chief Librarian thanks to Chapter Master Gabriel Angelos, in line of the former's services to Aurelia. This also suggests that Orion managed to survive "Dawn of War 2."

In line with the character, an official statement states that Orion also wants to give a new definition to psyker culture within the Blood Ravens Chapter. This to prevent heresy from spreading. The Blood Ravens' gene seed also links to the group's high player distribution; thus, Orion as Chief Librarian prevents them from going astray.

According to Sega, as cited by PC Gamer, Orion is a psyker of "tremendous renown." The character, who initially appeared in "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 - Chaos Rising" is set to come back for combat in "Dawn of War 3" as one of the strongest Elite units. As per the publication, he is set to be with a demonic cherub familiar, who serves as his psychic channel.

"Dawn of War 3" welcomes both existing and new players, Tom's Hardware reports. According to the website, the game covers both player status while providing intense combat scenes in a strategy game.

"Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" is set to be released for Microsoft Windows in 2017.
