Big Idea Entertainment Releases Game App Based on All-New VeggieTales Superhero DVD!

Big Idea Entertainment, a leading studio and producer of children's and family programming, characters and brands, announced today the release of a brand-new game app, VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables App. The app is based on Big Idea Entertainment's superhero themed DVD title, VeggieTales®: The League of Incredible Vegetables. The Company partnered with Thruster, the social, gaming and entertainment division of Bottle Rocket Apps, to create the app that will be available for iPhone and iPod touch at $2.99, in addition to an iPad version for $4.99.  The app for Android devices will launch exclusively on Amazon Android Kindle Fire at $2.99, followed by a wider Android Market release on Google Play.

VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables App features simple touch-based controls, and provides entertainment for children and VeggieTales fans ages four and up. Gamers can choose from their favorite VeggieTales characters, including Larry the Cucumber as LarryBoy!, Bob the Tomato as Thingamabob!, Mr. Lunt as S-Cape!, Petunia Rhubarb as Vogue!, Junior Asparagus as Ricochet!, and Archibald Asparagus as Alfred! as they use their intuitive skills to navigate through 28 different challenging levels. Throughout the levels, gamers will become a hero as they work to unlock over 60 powers and save Bumblyburg! VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables App features interactive environments and scenes directly from the VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables DVD.

DVD Synopsis

It was a bright and sunny day in Bumblyburg until Dr. Flurry came to town. This chillin' villain wants to freeze the entire city in fear!
